The Results and Feeling Good

Yesterday i got a call from my Dr and my results came back POSITIVE for Influenza A, and i was just recently informed that "A" is a strain of the H1N1 virus so i did have the piggy flu.
It was funny that it takes that long to get the results but this is why they don't wait for the results before they treat you.
I don't remember much about being sick besides a MASSIVE/EXPLOSIVE headache, that was the worst part, everything else was extra in the package!! I'm excited to get back to work and get moving and have people interaction again. I had been debating weather to get the vaccine or not and then it was too late but now i am immune!! I just chose the hard way.
Feeling good feels so good!!

H1N1 (also known as Swine Flu) is Miserable

I am having a some what better moment and b/c im going crazy lying in bed i had to do something, being quarantined to my home is the pits (as my mom would say).
So I stuck my foot in my mouth and said just 3 days ago "ohhh i dont get sick ESPECIALLY the flu, I cant get the flu". Well that night i woke up and i was miserable and its just getting worse. Spiking high fevers every 4 hours, taking tylenol which doesnt always help, body aches, explosive headache, nausea, coughing, running nose, legs feel like jello, takes me 5 minutes to walk up the stairs and then i feel like i just ran 5 miles. So that's how the last 2 days have been for me. I went to the Dr today and got a wire shoved up my nose that was no fun and then they sent me home with some killer antibiotics, and they really kick your trash. An hour after taking the first pill i was violently puking ( i did read the side effects and sure enough vomiting was on the list). Time and patience will heal me.

i thought this picture was funny, Its titled Swine Flu Victim (Cermet attached by miss piggy!)

2 YEARS!!

Where did the time go? We just had our 2 year anniversary a week ago... Oct 10.
For our anniversary this year we didn't plan anything but last minute we took a trip to Alpine, AZ to Clinton's family cabin. It was beautiful weather and just perfect. We went fishing, shooting, and enjoyed the great outdoors.
Clinton got me a new compac camera and i just love it. It was working GREAT until Clinton wanted to take a picture of me fishing in the River and then decide to hand it to me as he was standing in the River and Dropped it in!! Keep in mind its NOT water proof!! About 10 seconds later i got the camera out and turned it on, we thought it was working then the water settled in. We quickly rushed back to the cabin and put the camera in rice for the next 12 hours, and you know what?? It worked!!

This is Clinoton's gift....32GB I-Pod Touch

the first fish Clinton caught just before the camera went swimming in the river!
This is Brody. Brody joined us shortly after we lost Chester and Riley, i still get sad when i have to talk about them. We spent many months and lots of hours looking for them, posting online, and checking the shelters but no luck. We hope that Riley and Chester are with a good family who love them both. Brody is a interesting dog surly different from our first ones but we love him just the same and Clinton is much happier having a furry creature around that he can cuddle with.

Whats Been Happening & My Trip to Washington

This picture was for Grandpa Turner
Well it sure has been a while since i posted last. I have been super busy working and picking up a lot of extra hours. We are doing well, Clinton is working so hard in school and currently doing an internship with a group here from the Philippines. I have no idea whats going on and what he does but its a great experience for him. Only 2 and 1/2 months until Graduation!!! Then he will start his masters :) I have to say that he loves school much more than me and I'm grateful for that!
After all my crazy hours and busy weeks i took off for a visit to Washington to see my Sister and family. I planned the trip a while ago and my sister Rischel asked if i would like to go on a family trip with her to the Portland Zoo. So that's what we did one day while i was visiting. It was a long/quick trip and lots of fun. I was able to see Rischel & Ryans new cute home they just bought in January and she is such a great decorator. I felt like i was walking into a catalog! Hopefully some day my home will be just as elaborate!! While i was visiting Rischel i was able to help her organize some areas in her house it was like going shopping for me i LOVED it. Rischel kept taking breaks and asking me if i was tired but i kept going and wanted more things to organize it was awesome.
While i was home i was able to visit with one of my great friends Ashley Iverson. Thanks Ashley for spending all afternoon chatting, i had lots of fun!

My mom is he ultimate home maker, in the short time i was there she canned peaches, spaghetti sauce, make cilantro, and sun dried tomatoes. When did she do all this?? I dont know but some how she manages to find the time. What a woman she has always been so active in the kitchen. I remember growing up she was always slaving away in the kitchen canning and baking it was great!!

the only picture i have with Rischel :( and i dont know why I'm holding her arm, i guess i didnt want her to run away

little Owen did a super job in the 3.5 hour car ride, little did we know he loves books! it was hilarious watching him look at the pictures i wondered what he was thinking
Sunday best!

I think she had a headache

but very photogenic

Emry was so funny sometimes, this girl just blows you away with her smile
