Changes All Around....

We are alive and well. It sure has been a long time, but under the circumstances I had a good excuse!!...........Its official we are going to have a baby. I am due in June and for the past 3 months I have been sick and not much fun for anyone. (That’s my excuse!) It’s really hard to hide being pregnant when you feel so miserable, look miserable, constantly need to eat, carry crackers in your purse, pee 6 times in 4 hours, have to make excuses for not going out. My wonderful husband was such a trooper and so good to me. For about 10 weeks I had 24 hour nausea and wanted to sleep any chance I could. My husband was there at the touch of a button when I needed ice-chips, soda crackers, ginger ale, and even when I was puking in the kitchen sink b/c it was the first thing I could get to fast enough at the time.
Back in Oct when we found out we were pregnant we were a little nervous, after a couple losses it was hard to get our hopes up for the 3rd time, but after a couple week i started to feel different., it was so amazing. A week after we found out we were pregnant I got sick with the H1N1 flu and that was a little scary but I battled through and the baby hung on with me. We had our first ultrasound on November 11 and saw the heart beat and our little gummy bear. Working 12 hour shifts has been brutal, but I somehow managed to get through the days. I’m still working and trying to relax, but it seems there is always something to do.

During all this time we had some exciting changes come our way; well we actually new about this back in September but it all came to life just recently; and the beginning of December we moved out of our house and are living with Clinton’s parents for a few months. We are renting our house until we move to Utah. Clinton will be going to school in Utah. So next summer we are moving to Logan, Utah where Clinton will be going to school to get his masters degree then we will be on to some exciting places….. once we know more I will tell!!

Wahoo! I'm excited for you. I know that 24 your nausea, it sucks. If it keeps up get some Zophran, that is a miracle drug and totally safe. Good Luck!

ERIN YAY!! I'm really sad to hear about your losses but glad that things are going better this time. When in June are you due??! I'm due in June too! And I can TOTALLY relate to everything you posted about- throwing up in the sink, carrying around crackers, I just have to tell everyone I'm pregnant so that they don't think I'm just dying. I am so so happy for you. Have a Merry Christmas!
