Our Adventurous Trip to Washington

Well yesterday was suppose to be our nice and easy flight up to WA, so we thought. We arrived at the airport on time to find out that our flight was going to be delayed 2.5 hours. So we just sat down outside security and waited. After about 45 min. I thought i should go check the flight board. To my surprise our flight read "BOARDING". I ran back and we grabbed our things and took off to our gate only to find out that they moved out gate to the opposite end of the airport. So we started running and a taxi airport guy picked us up. We arrived at our gate and soon later found out that we had a plane but no flight crew. So we had to wait for a crew to arrive, well we ended up with one pilot and that was all. So it was not until 10:10 that we finally got a crew and left. Our flight was direct because they closed all flights into Las Vegas.... yup... Vegas got snow!! It was snowing so bad in Spokane that the pilots didn't think they could land, after trying twice we made it. It was about 12:30 when we landed, we tracked down a taxi in the deathly winter storm and got to the hotel around 1 a.m. Checked into our room and off we went. As I stuck the key in the door and proceeded to open it i hear a big YELL. Apparently someone was already sleeping in that room. So after we had a laugh we dragged our 5 bags of luggage down to the lobby and informed the front desk of the situation. So after about 45 min we got another room and by 3 am i had finally fallen asleep only to wake up to the phone ringing at 6:45.
Because of the horrible down pour of snow my parents waited to come and pick us up in the morning. When we awoke it was STILL snowing, we were buried in snow and by then it had snowed almost 2 ft in some areas. IT WAS AMAZING!! I love the snow but Clinton was not sure what to think of it all.
We finally arrived in Moses Lake around 11 o'clock this morning and its FREEZING, but its wonderful to be here. Despite the frigid temperatures (20degrees and dropping) we are enjoying our time and cant wait to see the rest of the family this week. Let it snow Let it snow let it Snow!!
