If you're looking for a way to save big money, a little elbow grease may go a long way. Making homemade products instead of buying more expensive store versions could leave you with extra dollars in your pocket and we all know we could use some extra $$ these days.
I was watching GMA today and saw these great tips.
Homemade Foaming Soap
savings:$50
When you buy a bottle of foaming soap SAVE it!
You can refill it with any old liquid soap. Use 2 tablespoons of regular liquid soap per cup of water. The liquid soap bottle will last you an entire year, just keep refilling it.
Homemade Baby Food
Savings: $300
Using fruits and veggies you can pure them and make your own homemade baby food.

This post reminds me of when I first found out I was having twins. i went out and bought a few "twin" books, and in one of the books it had the recipe of how to make baby wipe-ups. We all had a good laugh out of that because, what mom of twins (or just mom of one) was going to have time to make her own wipe-ups, for double the babies?!
